Becky's Granola

No messing about here, let's get baking...



Ingredients

- 225g Instant Golden Syrup Quaker Oats

- 125g Honey

- 42g Coconut Oil

- 12g Flax Seeds

- Cinnamon



Method

- Preheat your oven to 135C Fan and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.


- In a large bowl, mix together your oats and cinnamon, then add the rest of the ingredients and stir together until the honey and oil covers everything.


- Pour the ingredients from the bowl evenly onto the lined baking sheet.


- Bake in the oven for around 45 minutes or until golden. At 25 minutes into baking, remove from the oven and mix the granola around on the baking sheet to make sure it all bakes evenly.


- Leave to cool on a cooling rack once baked. When fully cooled, transfer to an airtight container to store.


- I use this on top of yogurt, smoothie bowls etc.


NB: You can use normal oats, but I find the golden syrup Quaker Oats add more flavour without the extra calories of adding pure golden syrup into the mix.
